Quick Answer

QVC Qatar (the Qatar Visa Center) is where Qatar work visa applicants from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka sign their employment contract, give biometrics and take a medical test before traveling. Book at www.qatarvisacenter.com with your visa number and passport number, then use Track Application on the same site to check your medical result and status. Completing QVC is a required processing step, not the visa approval itself.

  1. Go to www.qatarvisacenter.com and select your language and country of residence.
  2. Book an appointment using your visa number and passport number, or use the walk-in option if you missed your slot.
  3. At the center, sign your employment contract, complete biometric enrollment and take the medical test.
  4. Track your medical result and application status afterward using the Track Application section.

QVC Qatar is the Qatar Visa Center, the official biometric and medical processing network where many Qatar work visa applicants sign their employment contract, give their biometric details and take a medical test in their home country before they travel. You book it on the official site, www.qatarvisacenter.com, using your visa number and passport number.

If your employer's paperwork has reached the stage where you're told to "book your QVC appointment," this is the step you're at. QVC currently operates in six countries: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka. This guide covers booking and rescheduling, what happens at the center, how to check your QVC medical report and visa status, the MOI visa inquiry page, and what to do if something isn't working, based on QVC's own official site and Ministry of Interior guidance.

What Is QVC Qatar (the Qatar Visa Center) and Who Uses It?

QVC is the designated visa-processing center network that handles biometric enrollment and medical testing for work visa applicants from six countries: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka. It exists so that applicants can complete these steps in their home country before traveling, rather than only after arriving in Qatar.

In July 2024 the Ministry of Interior added QVC medical services for temporary work visas and multiple-entry work visit visas, and a vision test for applicants hired as drivers, according to Gulf Times. Most people who search for QVC Qatar, though, are regular work visa holders sent there by a new employer.

You'll typically be directed to QVC after your prospective employer in Qatar has already started your entry-permit process. Our Qatar work visa guide covers the full sequence, from the employer's entry-permit application through to the Residence Permit (QID) you receive after arrival, with the QVC visit sitting in the middle of that chain.

QVC does not offer jobs

QVC's own site states this directly: Qatar Visa Centers do not provide job offers of any kind. Their role is limited to the legal processing steps needed to issue a visa. Be cautious of anyone claiming to be a QVC agent or representative and offering you a job, a faster appointment, or a guaranteed visa in exchange for payment outside the official process.

Countries and Cities With a QVC Center

QVC has centers in six countries: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka. These are the only countries in the country selector on the official site. India has the most centers (seven cities), followed by Pakistan and Bangladesh with two each. Nepal, the Philippines and Sri Lanka have one center each.

CountryQVC center cities
IndiaNew Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi
PakistanIslamabad, Karachi
BangladeshDhaka, Sylhet
NepalKathmandu
PhilippinesManila
Sri LankaColombo

This city list is the one Gulf Times reported in July 2024. Addresses can change, so check the Visa Center page or the QVC Locator on the official site for your country before you travel. Qatar has announced plans for centers in Kenya, Indonesia and Tunisia, but none of these countries appears in the official site's country list yet.

The Official Website: qatarvisacenter.com

The official QVC website is www.qatarvisacenter.com. Qatar's Ministry of Interior links to this exact address from its Visa Services page, under "Track Application Status (Qatar Visa Center)", which is an easy way to confirm you're on the real site. There is no QVC site on a qvc.gov.qa address.

Type the address with www. When we checked in October 2026, www.qatarvisacenter.com opened normally, while the bare address without www did not load at all.

The first screen asks you to choose a language and your country of residence. Languages offered include English, Arabic, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, Nepali and Sinhala. After that, the menu shows How to Book, Book Appointment, Manage Appointment and Track Application, plus pages for center locations, amenities, FAQs, contact numbers and a live chat.

If you search for QVC Qatar, check the result's address before you click, and only enter your passport and visa numbers on www.qatarvisacenter.com. Social media pages or other websites using the QVC name are not the booking system, even if they look similar.

What to Check Before Booking

  • Confirm which of the six countries your appointment falls under, since the official site asks you to select your country of residence before showing anything else
  • Have your visa number and passport number ready, since QVC's own booking flow asks for both to start
  • Confirm the appointment purpose your employer or sponsor has told you to book for, since QVC handles more than one type of visa case
  • Check whether your specific country's QVC page lists any document or fee requirements before you travel to the center, since these can vary by country and are shown during the booking process itself

How to Book a QVC Appointment

QVC appointment booking happens directly on QVC's official website, which asks you to select your language and country of residence first, since the process and contact details differ by country. In many cases your employer has already approved your contract in Metrash and been redirected to the QVC site to schedule the medical appointment, so check with them before booking a second slot.

  1. Go to the official QVC website and select your applicant language.
  2. Select your country of residence: Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines or Sri Lanka.
  3. Choose Book Appointment from the site's navigation.
  4. Enter your visa number and passport number when prompted.
  5. Select an available appointment date, time and location from what the system offers.
  6. Complete the booking and keep your QVC booking confirmation for your visit.

Rescheduling, Missed Slots and Walk-Ins

If you miss your scheduled appointment, or want to be seen earlier than your booked slot, QVC's site describes an optional walk-in service: applicants can attend without a pre-booked appointment and QVC will process the application on a walk-in basis.

To change or manage a booking you've already made, use the Manage Appointment section of the official site rather than making a second, separate booking.

Who Pays the Visa Center Fee?

The employer or sponsor in Qatar pays the QVC medical examination fee, not the worker. The Ministry of Interior's guidance says the fee is paid through the Metrash app after the recruitment steps are complete, and Metrash also lets the employer move a paid fee from one visa to another if the worker changes.

In Metrash, the path is Visas, then Overseas Medical Examination Procedures, then Pay Overseas Medical Examination Center Fees, as reported by The Peninsula. If you're the employer, our Metrash app guide covers registration and login.

When the centers opened in 2019, the Ministry also stated that the employer pays all recruitment fees in Qatar. Be wary of any agent who asks you to pay a "QVC fee" in cash. If you're already working in Qatar and these costs were taken from your salary, our guide on filing a labor complaint in Qatar explains how to raise it.

Documents to Bring on the Day

The one document requirement confirmed directly on QVC's own booking flow is your visa number and passport number, which the system asks for before it will show you appointment options. Beyond that, exact document and fee requirements are shown on your specific country's QVC page during booking and can differ by country and by visa category, so this guide won't guess at a single universal checklist.

At the center, staff verify your identity and check your documents before issuing a token, so bring the original passport you booked with and your appointment confirmation, plus anything extra your country's QVC page lists.

Check your own country's QVC page directly

Because QVC serves six countries with different processes, treat the document list and any fee shown during your own booking flow, for your own country and visa type, as the current requirement, rather than a general list found elsewhere.

What Happens at the Center: Contract, Biometrics and Medical Test

QVC's own site describes the visit as biometric enrollment followed by a medical test. Ministry of Interior announcements add a third part: you sign your employment contract at the center. In practice the visit runs in this order.

Arrival and Token

When the centers opened, the Ministry asked applicants to arrive about 15 minutes before their slot, not earlier. Staff verify your identity, check your documents and give you a token, and you wait until your token number is called.

Employment Contract Signing

When your token is called, staff explain the contract terms and you sign your work contract digitally, as described at the Manila center's opening by Qatar Tribune. The Ministry still listed contract signing as part of the QVC process in 2024.

Read the job title, salary and contract length before you sign, and ask staff to explain anything that differs from the offer you were given. After you arrive, our guide on how to verify your employment contract in Qatar shows how to check the registered version online.

Biometric Enrollment

You visit the center at your allotted time and a Biometric Officer enrolls your biometric details, the identity-verification data used to confirm who you are throughout the rest of the visa process.

Medical Test

QVC's site describes this as a general health check-up that includes blood sampling and an X-ray. Reports from the launch also mention a vision assessment and a physical examination. This is a standard part of the pre-arrival process for many work visa applicants. It is separate from the examination run inside Qatar by the Ministry of Public Health, which our Medical Commission Qatar guide covers, and some arrivals are asked to complete both.

If you're hired as a driver, the vision test can be done at QVC too. The result is sent electronically to Qatar's General Directorate of Traffic, so you don't repeat the vision test after arrival. Our guide to getting a driving license in Qatar covers the remaining steps.

QVC centers also list on-site amenities on their official site, including a lounge, a telecom counter (a free SIM voucher from Vodafone is mentioned), a banking counter (Commercial Bank of Qatar), insurance (QIC) and a foreign-exchange counter (Al Dar Exchange). Exactly which amenities are available can vary by location.

How to Check Your QVC Medical Report and Result

You check your QVC medical result online through the Track Application section of www.qatarvisacenter.com, using the same passport number and visa number you booked with. Your employer in Qatar can also follow the application from their side. A fit result moves your file forward, but it is still not the visa decision itself.

  1. Open www.qatarvisacenter.com and choose your language and country of residence.
  2. Select Track Application.
  3. Enter your passport number and visa number exactly as they appear on your documents.
  4. Read the status shown for your medical and application.

The site does not publish a fixed turnaround for QVC medical results. When the centers launched, the stated target was results by the 15th working day after the test, according to a 2019 review by immigration firm Fragomen. If your status hasn't moved after the time staff gave you at the center, call the helpline for your country.

If something in the first tests needs a closer look, applicants are often called back to the center to repeat that test. The same Fragomen review noted there was no formal appeal process for a failed medical, so attend any repeat test on the date given and keep your token and appointment details.

How to Check Your QVC Visa Status

QVC's official site has a dedicated Track Application section, separate from the booking flow, for checking where your application stands. As with booking, it's built around the same visa number and passport number used to make the appointment.

  1. Go to the official QVC website and select your language and country, as you did to book.
  2. Choose Track Application from the navigation.
  3. Enter the details the system asks for to look up your case.
  4. Review the status shown.

If a status shown is unfamiliar or unclear, don't assume what it means. Use QVC's official contact channels for that specific status rather than guessing, since status labels and their meaning are set by QVC and the Qatari authorities, not something a third-party guide can reliably interpret for every case.

Checking the Visa Itself on MOI's Visa Inquiry Page (fees2.moi.gov.qa)

fees2.moi.gov.qa/moipay/visa/inquiry is the Ministry of Interior's online visa inquiry page. MOI's official Visa Services page sends its Visa Approval Tracking, Visa Inquiry and Printing, and Visa Extension / Fine Payment buttons to this address. It covers the visa itself, while the QVC site covers your appointment and medical.

According to MOI, the visa inquiry service lets you:

  • Follow up on the approval of a work or visit visa application using the application number
  • Look up a work or visit visa using the visa number
  • Print or reprint the details of an issued visa online

To get there safely, open MOI's Visa Services page and pick the service you need, rather than following a link sent by an agent. If the page won't open where you are, ask your employer in Qatar to check the visa for you; they can also pay the visa fee in Metrash and receive a copy of the visa by email.

What Happens After Your QVC Visit

Completing biometrics and your medical test at QVC is a processing step, not the decision on your visa. In the broader work-visa sequence, a licensed employer in Qatar applies for your entry permit with the Ministry of Interior; QVC's role is the biometric and medical step many applicants complete before traveling. The entry permit approval itself is a separate decision by the Qatari authorities, and after you arrive in Qatar, your employer then applies for your Residence Permit (QID). Our Qatar work visa guide covers that full sequence in detail.

Once you have your QID, our Qatar ID status check guide explains how to confirm it's active.

With your QID in hand, you can also register for a Qatar health card, which you need to use PHCC health centers and HMC hospitals.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is QVC Qatar?

QVC Qatar is the Qatar Visa Center, the official network where Qatar work visa applicants from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka sign their employment contract, enroll biometrics and take a medical test in their home country. It handles processing steps only. It does not issue the visa decision and does not offer jobs.

Is qatarvisacenter.com the official QVC website?

Yes. The official address is www.qatarvisacenter.com, and Qatar's Ministry of Interior links to it from its Visa Services page under Track Application Status (Qatar Visa Center). Type it with www, because the address without www did not load when we checked in October 2026. There is no QVC website on a qvc.gov.qa address.

How do I book a QVC appointment?

Go to www.qatarvisacenter.com, select your language and country of residence, and choose Book Appointment. Enter your visa number and passport number, pick an available date, time and center, and keep the confirmation. Check with your employer first, since they may already have scheduled the medical appointment after approving your contract in Metrash.

How do I reschedule a QVC appointment, or can I walk in?

Use the Manage Appointment section on the official QVC website rather than making a new, separate booking. QVC's site also describes an optional walk-in service for applicants who missed their scheduled appointment or want to be seen earlier, with the application processed without a pre-booked slot.

What documents do I need for a QVC appointment?

QVC's booking flow needs your visa number and passport number to begin. At the center, staff verify your identity and check documents before issuing a token, so bring the original passport you booked with and your appointment confirmation. Extra requirements can vary by country and visa category and are shown on your country's QVC page.

What happens during a QVC medical test?

QVC describes it as a general health check-up that includes blood sampling and an X-ray, carried out at the center after biometric enrollment. Launch reports also mention a vision assessment and physical examination. Applicants hired as drivers can take the vision test for their Qatar driving license at QVC as well.

How do I check my QVC medical report?

Open www.qatarvisacenter.com, choose your language and country, select Track Application and enter your passport number and visa number. Your employer in Qatar can also follow the application. If something needs a closer look, you may be called back to repeat a test. A fit QVC medical result is not the visa approval itself.

How do I check my QVC application status?

Use the Track Application section on the official QVC website, selecting your language and country first, then entering the details it asks for. If a status label is unclear or hasn't changed for a long time, contact the QVC helpline for your country rather than guessing what it means.

What is fees2.moi.gov.qa used for?

fees2.moi.gov.qa/moipay/visa/inquiry is the Ministry of Interior's visa inquiry page. MOI's Visa Services page links to it for visa approval tracking by application number, visa inquiry by visa number, printing or reprinting an issued visa, and visa extension or fine payment. It covers the visa itself, not your QVC appointment.

Which countries have a Qatar Visa Center?

QVC currently operates in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines and Sri Lanka, based on the country selector on its official website. India has centers in seven cities, Pakistan and Bangladesh have two each, and Nepal, the Philippines and Sri Lanka have one each. Kenya, Indonesia and Tunisia have been announced but are not listed yet.
